SE/SSE – Full Stack Developer (.Net)

The “GrapeSEED global technology” division provides and maintains technical services and applications to support the usage of GrapeSEED in an increasingly digital, global environment. It includes multiple teams spread throughout America, Japan, India, Vietnam, and China. We work with the latest technologies and practices. With our services reaching global markets and translated into 10 languages, it offers a fresh and interesting challenge. However, as our curriculum, team, and market penetration grow, we foresee this work continuing for the next 10+ years. We have already begun work on AI technologies to interact with the students on new levels. There are also many other possibilities under consideration for the future including gaming and collaboration with our animation team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development for the complete module and maintenance of our software
• Work in cooperation with other developers for design and implementation of new projects
• Working under general direction, must make logically sound choices and prioritize work
• Understand when to escalate risks/concerns to management and when to handle personally
• Remain up-to-date on the latest technologies, consistently strive to learn more and
improve skills
• Guide junior developers (for SSE) with technical solutions.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• In depth knowledge of the .NET Framework and C#

• In depth knowledge of web technologies JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

• Excellent programming skills with ReactJS or a similar JavaScript frameworks

• Knowledge of build and deployment technologies including Azure, Dockers, and Jenkins

• In depth knowledge of database programming techniques including familiarity with SQL

• Knowledge of software development tools such as Visual Studio

• Proficient in writing, speaking, and listening in English

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent prioritization and task management skills

• Possess a high standard of ethical conduct

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2-6 years of software development experience
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
